Frösta Vinträdgård is specializing in Solaris grapes grown on sun-facing stone terraces. Their main product is a dry white wine called "Convinto"
Frösta Vinträdgård is a family-run vineyard located in Sweden, owned and operated by Per and Annika Giertz. The vineyard focuses on cultivating the Solaris grape, grown on south-facing stone-walled terraces designed to maximize sunlight exposure. Their signature wine is “Convinto,” a still, dry white wine. The vineyard embraces a nature-centric approach to winemaking and prides itself on biodiversity. In addition to grapevines, the estate is home to a wide range of plants including peonies, magnolias, and walnut trees. Rooted in history, the Frösta estate takes its name from the Norse fertility god Frö and dates back to the Viking Age. While they have traditionally sold their wine exclusively to restaurants, starting in June 2025, Frösta Vinträdgård will also begin selling directly to consumers.
